Our Baladi chickens roam free at Helmy Farms for around 90 days, twice as long as commercial birds. Slow growth means firmer meat and deeper flavour, the chicken your grandmother remembers. Their feed is partly grown at Sekem and partly made from surplus from our own farming, production and kitchens: nothing wasted.

Cage-free, no hormones, and antibiotics only if a bird is sick. Halal and ethically raised. It roasts beautifully whole, and the carcass makes a rich stock afterwards. Vacuum-packed and frozen to lock in freshness; thaw overnight in the fridge.
