Rice Brown (750g)

Brown rice keeps its bran layer, so it has a nutty flavour, a little more chew and more fibre than white rice. Imtenan’s is a single ingredient: whole-grain rice and nothing else. 750 g.

Soak for 6–12 hours, rinse and drain. Cook with 1½ cups of salted water per cup of rice, tightly covered, bringing it to the boil and then lowering the heat until tender. Introduce whole grains gradually. Imtenan does not recommend it for people with intestinal obstruction or advanced diabetes.
